Levi's Dresser

So we are slowely but surely working on Levi's room.  It is finally starting to come together!  But it isn't done yet so you'll have to wait on pictures of the whole room for right now.  We did get the Craigslist dresser repainted and put up in his room (finally!).  So here is the before and after reveal.

 Before

After

Sorry about all the stuff in front of it!  The room is not completely organized yet.  :)  We are pretty pleased with how it turned out.  It is amazing what a little bit of white paint and spray paint will do to a piece of furniture!  For those that are interested in re-doing their own piece of furniture, we followed instructions that you can find over at Young House Love.  We love that blog!

Fun Website!

I was reading one of my favorite blogs, Young House Love, this afternoon {check out their awesome bathroom redo!} and they had an awesome website featured. Knock Off Wood is a website that shows you how to recreate furniture from some of your favorite stores - Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, etc. I love it! Mike might not though. :)

No More Basketball Hoop

Yesterday afternoon I got an idea of how to get rid of the basketball hoop in our driveway. I got this idea from a blog that I follow (and love!) - This Young House. They enlisted free labor from Craigslist to remove some bushes from their front lawn. The people just had to come and dig them up and they were their's free and clear. So I thought why can't I do that with our basketball hoop? I'm sure there is someone out there that would want a free basketball goal. Sure enough I was right. A LOT of people want a free basketball hoop. So this afternoon the first person that sent me a 2nd email got their free basketball hoop. However, the deal was for them to dig it out of the ground - my ambitious husband beat them to it so it was laying in the driveway when they pulled up. Bye bye big eye sore!
